Although the Wednesday morning skies were overcast and it started to sprinkle as 18 of us headed out of town for the Big Flat Habitat Hike along the Snake River, the weather for the remained of the outing was actually pretty nice. There was no wind to speak of and the sun almost managed to make an appearance. Depending upon which GPS device you believe to be more accurate, we hiked somewhere between 6.5 to 7.5 miles. Over lunch, which was eaten on a bank above the river, Leon and Kent debated whether it was legal to shoot crows in the state of Washington. It’s always difficult to predict what will be the hot topic of the day. (see photo of some of the hikers)
