Wanawish Bike Ride - It turned out to be a gorgeous day for a bike ride for three of us. We pedaled along the swollen bank of the Yakima River and saw at least 6 great blue herons, including 2 who were scraping. There were ducks, too. For awhile, we shared the road with a garbage truck, but traffic was nearly non-existent after we got out of town. Out by the dam, Eva, our director of fun and frivolity, suggested a self-portrait of the group by holding the camera out and shooting back. The result you see below and if you squint, you might see Wanawish dam in the background. – Becky
