RV/Camping
Check the Special Events page for trips planned in the future
You don’t have to have an RV to have fun with the RV/Camping group! Although, we stay in state parks, city parks and RV resorts/campgrounds, most events are in places where members without RV's can stay in cabins, hotels/motels or B&B's. We have several couples and individuals who take advantage of the fun by staying close by the park in other accommodations. If you like walking, hiking, bicycling, kayaking/canoeing, fishing, and group tours of interesting places in the area, come join us.

Ocean Park, July 16-20, 2025
We were in Ocean Park for five nights, the main attraction for this trip was the Sandsations annual sand castle building event, most of which were professionally done. We had happy hour at the RV park every night except the night we all went to dinner together. By Friday we were all entranced by the sand sculptures. Saturday was the day of judging. Two teams worked from 10am until 4 pm with 8 members working full time. Sunday found us going to Astoria for a wonderful market which they have every Sunday, rain or shine.
