Bicycle Difficulty Definitions
Relaxed: Generally under 12 miles; no pressure to keep up the pace; frequent stops to regroup, often on bike paths and often have the destination of a restaurant or brew pub.
Moderate: Generally under 24 miles; a few hills but none too serious; need to be able to keep a reasonable pace; will stop to regroup occasionally.
Strenuous: Generally over 18 miles with significant hills or over 24 miles that may have challenging hills; need to keep a faster pace; will stop once or twice to regroup.
